The school is ideally located in the old town, within easy walking distance of the main sights. The teachers were great - Francesca taught us grammar and Christiana did conversation. We spoke Italian the whole time. Francesca accompanied us on the excursions and is a walking encyclopedia! We had a cookery lesson, which was great fun, and a wine tasting which was very interesting as we learned how to taste wine properly.
Although I signed up for the "Master class", there was a mixture of ages in the class and the lessons were not really tailored to the older age group. I felt that my spoken Italian improved a lot and I now feel more confident about speaking.
