This course prepares for academic life at an Italian-speaking university. Our special university preparation course combines Italian language and academic study skills and will give foreign students a good chance of success in the selection process. The preparatory course is designed for admission into the following faculties:
Medicine | Veterinary | Science | Pharmacy | Engineering | Biology| Chemistry
The preparatory course lasts 4 weeks and includes lessons in scientific subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Logic). This preparation course is intended for those students who, due to the "Numerus Clausus" in their own country, are unable to enter the faculty. Admission to Italian university requires an entrance exam (Italian language + scientific subjects). Examinations are held in September at the faculty chosen by the applicant. Students from other countries than EU, must apply for the entrance at the Italian consular delegation in their Country. Before attending the entrance exam (scientific subjects) students must pass an Italian language proficiency test.
The course can be preceded by a course in the Italian language from January onwards each year according to the initial level of knowledge of the language of each student. Important: students with no knowledge or basic knowledge of Italian are advised to follow a course of at least 8/12 weeks, before attending the preparatory course in summer.

• 80 (100) hours of italian language classes
• 60 (75) hours of Academic preparation in Scientific subjects

Preparation is held in Italian language, so application is possible only for students who already have a good command of Italian (minimum entry level : A2 / B1)
The language proficiency test can be substituted by an official certificate not lower that B2 of the Council of Europe issued by University for foreigners of Siena, Perugia or Roma III:

This highly intensive course combines our Standard Italian Course AM and SCIENTIFIC SUBJECTS Course PM. This course consists of 4 morning classes
(GENERAL INTENSIVE ITALIAN) plus 3 lessons in the afternoon
Total:
35 lessons per week, from 9.00 am to 1.15 pm in the morning and 2.15 pm to 5.15 pm in the afternoon Monday to Friday. Groups range from 3 to 8 students; When there are less than 2 students enrolled at the same level, we guarantee, at the same price, 5 one to one afternoon classes per week (***)
